As well as the Nordic Ski Secretary General Angelo Corradini, the Marketing Director Sandro Pertile and the Sport Director Cristina Bellante, also the Mayor Silvano Longo and the Sport Town Councillor Armando Rea took part at the meeting with Walter Hofer.
The Fis Race Director is satisfied and enthusiastic about the projects for the Stadium. He gave some important advices to better the broadcasting activities.
The works will be directed to the hill HS66, which is dedicated to the young athletes, who, in the future, could reach the start, also of the smaller hills HS16, HS21 and HS36, through innovative treadmills and escalators.
A new building will be built, on three floors, to host the offices of Nordic Ski and Marcialonga, the rooms for the Press Center, a space for a museum and rooms for VIP.
This building could be used also for other purposes, such events and concerts.
Walter Hofer suggested the idea that Nordic Ski liked a lot. The Ski Jumping Stadium could become an important centre for youth campus, also thanks to the hill HS66. An example, in which Nordic Ski showed a particular interest, was that of Norway. This year 400 ski jumpers participated at the campus in Norway, together with their families.
